Yes! We are still a charity bar.  OKRA - Organized Kollaboration on Restaurant Affairs - is a group of restaurant and bar owners.  The group sold the bar to the OKRA  longtime general manager in January 2021.  Since it is no longer group ownership, we rebranded.  New name.  Same concept.

Everyone knows Dolly Parton, but not everyone knows how hard she works for the betterment of the world around her.  She is an advocate for child education as well as a huge donor to modern vaccine research.  We see you and we love you, Dolly.

We pay our bills and our employees and keep a little in the bank for emergencies - then twice a year, make donations to our featured charities.  Our owner is the same person that operated OKRA's donation program that succeeded in donating over 1.3 million dollars to local charities during their run downtown, and she is continuing this work through Angel Share.
